Back after a one-season hiatus (that means vacation for those residing in or around Casa Grande). Basically, there is no real method to the madness (sorry haters). We take a long hard look at some of that week's games and determine some potential locks and will give you the reasoning behind how we selected what we did.
You are going to see some match-ups that will make you go "WTF? That IS a no-brainer lock" ... yup, totally gonna happen.
Of course, this is for 'fun' ... but we will graciously send you our PayPal email address if you manage to turn a slight profit ;)

OK, I am going to preface this in simple terms so our friends in Dacula can understand what I am saying. I honestly believe these scenarios can happen. Will they? That is up to the variables among each individual team.
When we made our original "way too early to call" predictions" back on June 9th (who else has the cajones to be standing out on limbs that early in the year? Huh, huh, huh?), who would have predicted that Tennessee would lose two potential starters on the defensive line or have a paddy wagon full amount of players arrested while VIP'ing at a bar on the strip? You got it. No one. Injuries happen, arrests happen, over pampered players do not develop ... it happens.
So go ahead UGA fans, bring it ... I am barely moving your positioning ... if at all ... I don't want to hear the cat calls of "you're changing your picks" ... because honestly, I'm not ;) With that said let's get down to it.

Here is the too-early-to-tell, too-early-to-call, but we felt like it (so we did) ... how far fetched are these views of the SEC East and SEC West? This early in the summer anything can happen because the last time we checked, no one has played their first game.
To stave off the inevitable jerk from that particular Dawg blog, get over yourself brother ... while this is not tongue in cheek, honestly we believe this could potentially happen.

Make no mistake about it ... there are two camps that want to see the Big-10 and PAC-10 expand: BCS proponents and the individual league offices.
Where are the fans on this matter?
As usual, the fans are (for the most part) sitting back watching in awe. Many fans that I have spoken to on facebook and twitter think that expanding their respective conferences to 16 teams will help their conference.
In fact, most of the folks I have spoken to almost immediately point to the fact that the SEC has literally dominated the BCS since expanding in 1992.
While several SEC football coaches believed that the original SEC expansion would hurt the league, the sheer number of BCS wins can not be ignored ... or can it?
