The college bowl schedule has been determined and set.  Where is your football team playing their bowl this year?

Taking a look at the actual match-ups versus our mid-November predictions, it is safe to say that we were on top of things once again.  Who else out there projected Auburn in the Outback, LSU in the Capital One, and South Carolina in the PapaJohns.com bowl ... on November 16th?

Sure, we missed three of the ten bowl match-ups (from the SEC side) on our original projections and did miss some of the opponent match-ups ... but when you really get down to it, we had the guts to stick it out there while the competitors were belly aching that this stuff was too unpredictable ... nine days after we had made our own predictions.

Not that we have an actual Heisman Ballot, because we do not, but if we did here is what our official Heisman Ballot would look like.

Keep in mind that there are zero break-a-way Heisman candidates this season.  At some point during the regular season, every Heisman candidate had a poor performance that raised eye brows.  While there are several very good players in college football this season, this has to be the most difficult Heisman Trophy to award.

If you were on the Heisman Ballot list, who are your top three and why are they in the order that you are selecting?  Is it because the player is actually that good or is it because that is the best player in your region and you are a biased homer?  It happens.

University of Tennessee Wide Receivers coach Frank Wilson has decided to return home to Louisiana.  Wilson has told UT head coach Lane Kiffin that he has taken an offer from the LSU Tigers to fill the void left by Larry Porter's move to Memphis.

Reportedly, Wilson will double his salary from his current $150,000 contract with UT.

This begs the obvious question:  with growing fan discontent with head coach Les Miles, is this a smart move?

While Frank is returning home and is apparently doubling his salary, how good will the money be two years from now if Miles is fired?

Looking at the Heisman race this season, there is no reason a defensive player could make a run at the award.
