Football Picks in the SEC November 21st

sec football

Last Week:  5-2
Season:  68-14

As we have attempted to jinx ourselves each week ... why get your SEC football picks anywhere else?

Mississippi State Bulldogs at Arkansas Razorbacks
Absolutely no one outside of the Starkville area is giving the Bulldogs a chance in this game.  Ask the Kentucky Wildcats if Mississippi State can get up for a road game.  Arkansas is a better team than UK, has a solid quarterback and for a team with a 'poor' defense ... are +12 in turnover margin on the season.  MSU needs this game desperately to keep their bowl game dreams alive ... maybe next year.

Arkansas 27
MSU  20

Chattanooga at Alabama Crimson Tide
Former Vols back-up quarterback BJ Coleman leads UTC into Tuscaloosa.  Alabama is too good.

Alabama 36
UTC 13

Florida International at Florida Gators
Another cupcake has been ordered for the Gators weak regular season schedule.  Expect the confectionary to be delivered Saturday.

Gators 49
FIU  3

LSU Tigers at Ole Miss Rebels
LSU is without the services of Charles Scott (fractured clavicle) and Jordan Jefferson leads the deflated LSU Tigers into the confines of Oxford, MS.  Ole Miss is fresh off a record setting rushing game against Tennessee. Can LSU's defense stop Dexter McCluster?  I say yes, but they can't stop the rest of the Ole Miss offense.

Ole Miss 21
LSU  17

Vanderbilt Commodores at Tennessee Volunteers
Vanderbilt has Warren Norman and not much else on offense.  The Vandy defense has shown they are capable of playing with almost anyone in the SEC.  Tennessee still faces the off-the-field distractions caused by the Janzen Jackson, Nu'Keese Richardson, Mike Edwards, Nyshier Oliver side show.  Honestly, can UT regroup or do they allow Vandy to get their first SEC win of the season?

Tennessee 17
Vandy 6

Kentucky Wildcats at Georgia Bulldogs
Kentucky needs a win over Georgia to establish themselves in the bowl play-off positioning war.  Too bad UK must play this game with at least two arms tied behind their backs ... Randall Cobb (shoulder) and Mike Hartline (knee) both are expected to be sidelined.  Georgia will be playing without AJ Green and has no other possession receivers to carry the load.  This game could be a snoozer.

A Knoxville radio personality (and competitive website owner)announced this week his sources within the UK community have told him that this is going to be Rich Brooks' last season with the Wildcats ... Rich Brooks originally alluded to the same fact at SEC Football Media Days ...do not be shocked if Brooks' announcement does in fact come this season.

Georgia 36
Kentucky 17

Bold Prediction:  This is the week I jinz myself ... I am tired, honestly have not given these picks 'that' much thought, and picked from the gut on everyone except two of them ... let's roll the dice and see what comes up.

As we told you last week, this is the part of the picks segment in which our resident picks panel of experts make their selections of every SEC game, plus several national games.

Last week, my seven year old son out paced the entire field at 10-2.  Congratulations Ladies and Gents ... we got it handed to us by a 2nd grader.

On the season, AK of BlatantHomerism.com is leading the field at 71-25.  MoonDogSports.com is hot on his heels only trailing by a game.

This week's selections come from the listed games found above in addition to these national match-ups:
note: at time of publication, we were still awaiting several members' picks ... these will be added as we receive them as long as we obtain them prior to kick-off Saturday.

Ohio State at Michigan

Virginia at Clemson

Wisconsin at Northwestern

Louisville at South Florida

North Carolina at Boston College

Connecticut at Notre Dame

5-1 for the week ... sorry UK fans, I missed that one by a mile ... Cobb starts & scored 2 TD's .. UK has better positioned itself in the bowl picture and when the Wildcats beat UT next week, a much higher SEC East finish

It is well known that cash can make us free. But what to do when one doesn't have cash? The one way is to try to get the loan and credit loan.
