The college bowl schedule has been determined and set. Where is your football team playing their bowl this year?
Taking a look at the actual match-ups versus our mid-November predictions, it is safe to say that we were on top of things once again. Who else out there projected Auburn in the Outback, LSU in the Capital One, and South Carolina in the PapaJohns.com bowl ... on November 16th?
Sure, we missed three of the ten bowl match-ups (from the SEC side) on our original projections and did miss some of the opponent match-ups ... but when you really get down to it, we had the guts to stick it out there while the competitors were belly aching that this stuff was too unpredictable ... nine days after we had made our own predictions.
SECRivals is still the most copied SEC blog on the internet.
We wear it as a badge of honor, but once again not even our closest competitiors came close to matching us.
So why go anywhere else for your SEC opinion?
The other sites are welcome to continue to steal our keywords, continue to post links from SECSportsMedia.com (because face it, that's what three do) while letting us take the lead. At the end of the day, it is obvious who has the honest, hard hitting opinion and who the pretenders are ... you don't have to be a source, a little mister or even a report to realize that one ... you guys know who you are and that is fine and yes, we are calling you and your records out.
The bottom line is simple to understand folks: we do not simply post links from SECSportsMedia.com ... we believe that you can go over there and read the latest headlines from around the SEC for yourself ... we are 99% opinion driven and that is what you will get from here.
