SEC Rivals Latest Posts

I had the opportunity to sit down tonight with two great minds when it comes to college football.  Aaron Torres (www.AaronTorres-Sports.com) and Allen Kenney (www.BlatantHomerism.com) know their stuff and know it well.  I try to hold my end of the bargain up, but be warned, I do have a face for the radio and a voice made for the shower.

We literally covered the gamut in a marathon-esque podcast that covered almost 90 full minutes from start to finish:

The SEC Championship Game:  We broke it down to the bare bones & examined the nuts and bolts of the Alabama Crimson Tide and Florida Gators.  I challenge you to find a more in-depth review of the SEC Championship Game anywhere on the net.  Couple the audio with Aaron Torres' War & Peace II version of the SEC title game preview and the result is an absolute home run.

The Big XII Championship:  We took BlatantHomerism.com's take on the BIG XII title game and took it to the house.  Does Nebraska have a shot at dethroning the Texas Longhorns?  Find out in Allen's solid Big XII preview article as well as the indepth discussion on the podcast.

The Heisman Trophy:  Who wins it?  Has the Heisman become regionalized?  If Tebow has a walk-off home run game this Saturday, should he be considered?  Check the audio to find out.

The State of Major College Football:  With this many undefeated teams, should the team's schedules matter when determining not only bowl match-ups, but the BCS Title as well?

Should the Bowl Selection Process be Changed?  Should the entire bowl make up be changed?

The SEC Digital Network's Pre/Post Game Coverage

The classic section where Aaron is nearly jacked up by the Connecticut police ... it happened ...

The very end where the software could not be turned off ... you can't make that one up.

All of this and much more in a round-table style discussion that will make you think.

You can listen to the talking heads that will spoon feed you their agendas or you can take the time to take this podcast in ... ultimately it is your choice, but I will tell you this:  we aren't journalists, never pretend to be, we are fans just like you are.

At the same time, you are not going to receive a teaspoon of crap while being told it's cream.  If you like the typical national view that you receive day in and day out, that is fine ... but we realize that their IS more to it than what you typically hear.
