Partial Prize List for Pick Ems

We have consistently awarded some sweet prizes with the NCAA pick ems. Past prizes have ranged from sports cards to gift certificates. This season will be no different. Here is a partial list of the sports cards that will be given away over the course of this season’s pick contest:

Marcus Monk Playoff Prestige Rookie Card
Robert Meachem Score Rookie
Skyler Green Topps TOTAL Rookie
Darren McFadden Sage Rookie Card
Chad Jackson Score Rookie Card
Andre Woodson Topps Rookie Card
Joseph Addai Topps Rookie Card
Erik Ainge Sage HIT Rookie Card
Jay Cutler Topps TOTAL Rookie Card
Reggie Nelson Topps TOTAL Rookie Card
Keenan Burton Sage HIT Rookie Card
Early Doucet Sage HIT Rookie Card
Brodie Croyle Topps 2nd year card

+ several unmentioned Pro All Stars that will be mixed in. All cards are in GEM Mint condition. No bent corners, off set prints or print lines on these babys. Depending on participation levels, a GEM MINT GRADED 10 Peyton Manning Rookie card could possibly be included in the mix. The Grand Prize for the league winner has not been determined at this time, but it is in the works.

The cards will be divided out into sealed envelopes. When the prize is a card, one envelope will be selected (minimum 2 cards per envelope) and mailed to the winner. Easy huh? On top of all of this, there will also be gift certificates and maybe even a few gas cards sprinkled in through out the season. What do you have to lose? If you are a regular, posting forum member: continue doing what you are doing because you are automatically eligible. If you are a new member or even possibly a board lurker, then get your rear end into the game. The only requirement that we have to award a prize is for the winner to be a regular posting member on the message board. How could it get any easier?

Our message board has a forum for every team in the SEC, off topic subjects, other sports, you name it. We are always looking to improve and we consistently move forward on suggestions from our members. Have you heard the smack that most radio sports talk hosts spew? Yeah, you know: “message boards are awful, full of anonymous users, etc”. Ever wonder why they take this stance? The same reason why most journalists hate bloggers: they feel threatened. Our board is much like a community where our members and their opinions are highly valued. The funny thing is many of the journalists covering the SEC have even started launching their own blogs and sites…..kind of an oxymoron, eh? LOL. We do not claim to have a person within the upper echelons of every athletic department, then again, we do not charge our members a membership fee for information that can easily be obtained via a google search. This site has always and will always be free to our members (unless of course, we sell out to “The Man”; lol, just kidding).

If you see similar opportunities on some other sites, especially SEC sites, thank them for following our lead. This is the third year that we have done this and as always, led the pack. Why not join a site that leads rather than becoming a member on a site that follows? See you on the boards!
